Straightening and finishing machine
Description
The straightening and finishing machine is suitable for the processing of bars and allows to straighten and finish the steel bars of different alloys or brass, covering a wide range of working diameters.
The Engen straightening and finishing machine is provided with two hyperbolic rollers, one concave and one convex, overlapping and inclined. The rollers are connected to the respective drive gear reducers by means of telescopic cardan extensions.
The profiles of the rollers, carefully designed, ensure a linear contact of the bar with the rollers themselves. This allows to apply higher pressures without crushing or ruling the surface of the bar.
On the side of the rollers, guide and polishing blades are mounted on shelves. Blades and guides are made of various materials depending on the product being processed.
The machine can be equipped with: an input pinch-roll so as to pre-rotate the bars before rolling and a pinch-roll when exiting the machine.
