Cylinder hot spinning machine

The cylinder hot spinning machine is designed for the hot bottom closing and necking-in operations of cylinders for the containment of high pressure gas.

The cylinder hot spinning machine can start from both tubes and partially pre-formed cylinders.

For steel cylinders, bottom closing and necking-in operations occur at the forging temperature, reached starting from preheated material.

The material is rotated and processed as needed:
– a single work phase for processing the collar in the case of  preformed material;
– two subsequent phases in the case of processing starting from a tube.

The cylinder hot spinning machine provides for the shaping and production of steel cylinders for the containment of high pressure gas. It must be inserted within a production line that includes post-processing checks and subsequent finishing stages in order to guarantee the quality of the product.
